Our clients are local governments, non-profit organisations, and other stakeholders who want to increase women's mobility in a sustainable way. Our clients want change. And while change is certainly achievable, it demands an understanding of local challenges. When Women on Wheels sets out on a new project, we first try to answer a few important questions:
No country, city or neighbourhood is the same. No woman is the same. Women on Wheels analyses the specific local challenges in order to determine which actions to take.
The challenges may lie in infrastructure, in norms and attitudes, or in the bicycle itself. Women on Wheels work with a wide array of tools to target each of these challenges.
To achieve change is one thing, to maintain it another. We want both. By analysing and evaluating the results, Women on Wheels helps our clients go all the way.
